The Deluxe Double Room offered a great layout and was impeccably clean. The location, just a short walk from the heart of Den Haag, made exploring the city effortless. Enjoyed complimentary free wi-fi in the room, perfect for staying connected. However, the soundproofing needed improvement. I could hear noises from the hallway which disrupted my sleep. I wished for an extra blanket during the night, as the duvet felt a bit thin. Front desk staff were helpful, but some had advised noise from renovations could be bothersome. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor inconveniences to consider.

The real deal or a total steal?
The beds were incredibly comfortable and the staff proved to be very friendly and helpful, enhancing my experience significantly. It's excellent value for money, especially given its prime location close to Central Station.
Soundproofing left much to be desired, with noise from adjacent rooms disrupting my sleep. I also found some electrical facilities to be inconsistent, which was frustrating during my stay.

A cozy stay by the tram
The Boutique Hotel First City features stylish rooms with modern decor and a friendly pub atmosphere. Located conveniently across from a tram stop, exploring The Hague was effortless.
Unfortunately, the soundproofing was inadequate. I could hear noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms, which disrupted my sleep. A few conveniences like a kettle in the room would have enhanced my stay.

The room had sufficient quietness due to its position facing the inner courtyard.
The experience felt more like an upscale hostel, with a narrow and uncomfortable bed made of two individual mattresses. The bathroom was cramped, with blue toothpaste from a previous guest still in the sink. No elevator made lugging bags a hassle, and we found ourselves unprepared with no dining options, breakfast, or amenities like a kettle or minibar. The housekeeping staff were knocking at 9:30 AM, pushing us out earlier than desired.

I wished for a kettle in the room, but the self-serve coffee in the lobby was a nice touch! ☕

Perfect for a quick stay!
Had a smooth check-in and the staff were super nice. The tram stop is right outside, so getting around was a breeze. One thing though, the room could use some soundproofing, it was kinda noisy when folks walked by. But loved the self-serve coffee option—they had great vibes!
